The Company
PDQ Airspares was the brainchild of 2 young entrepreneurs from the South of England, who mapped out a plan to provide a fast and efficient spares supply service to the global Airline industry. In 1990, from the humble beginnings of a 5,000 sq foot rural farmland warehouse, the Fordingbridge based company was birthed.
Founders Chris Miller and Nic Lewis, had both come from Aviation backgrounds and as a result quickly developed an understanding of what makes for a successful supply operation. From the outset, it was clear that they wanted to be known as a company that was both swift and reliable, which reflected in their choice of company name.
Armed with a clipboard, a loan and a sack of enthusiasm, they purchased their first package of B707 spares in 1991 and set about the task of making it available to the world.
The company's primary focus was initially on supplying overhauled components and surplus spares, which up until 2001 was a lucrative source of revenue. However in the wake of world events, the aviation industry took a turn and the second hand spares outlets became much more challenging. It quickly became apparent that a change of approach was called for...
Realising the industry's need of an all encompassing consumable spares supply and management solution, PDQ Airspares set about developing and marketing a new breed of service, now referred to as ConsumableCare. The response to this has been outstanding, as is clearly shown with the acceleration of Airlines and MROs eagerly signing up to 1, 2 and 3 year contracts.

Due to rapid growth over the last few months PDQ's stores are now open 24hours...
