PDQ Host Aerofest 2011
Building on last years successful event, PDQ hosted Aerofest 2011 this year. It was a fantastic weekend with plenty of glorious sunshine and it was great to see our family of aviation comrades letting their hair down and relaxing.

Smartlynx make the smart move into ConsumableCare.
Icelandair owned Smartlynx Airlines, have signed up to a three year Consumable supply deal with PDQ Airspares.
Ideally sized for both short and long-haul charter, the Latvian based subsidiary operate a fleet of 6 Airbus 320-200s and 2 Boeing 767-300s, with a further 2 Airbus A320 currently on lease to another operator. Smartlynx also offers its aircraft on lease to both Airline and tour operators for short term projects, or to boost existing route schedules.
The ConsumableCare contract has been tailored to ensure efficient and seamless integration with the Airline's existing maintenance programs, and has been geared at generating significant time and cost savings across the Airbus fleet.
PDQ Airspares is delighted to welcome Smartlynx on board, joining the ever increasing family of ConsumableCare Partners.

Air Astana extend their Partnership with PDQ
Following a successful 5 years, Air Astana, who were one of the first organisations to recognise the many benefits of PDQ's ConsumableCare programs, have extended and renewed their supply contract.
PDQ are delighted to be continuing their relationship with the Airline. Air Astana are now recognised as a clear leader in the CIS region and are planning to triple their fleet in the next 10 years.

PDQ Reaches Pinnacle of Quality Status
The Directors are pleased to announce that on 17th Feb 2011, the company was officially awarded approval status to EN/AS9120 Quality System for Distributors and Aerospace Stockists.
This approval standard is currently the ultimate level of certification which can be achieved within this sector of the Aerospace Industry, and is in addition to PDQ's existing ISO9001-2008 and FAA AC0056A Quality Standards.
The comprehensive audit was carried out by URS over a 3 day period on site at the the company's 2 locations in Fordingbridge, Hampshire, UK.

Partnership Deal Forged with Air Mauritius
Further to PDQ's continued commitment, cementing their expansion of Turn Key Consumable Solutions, we are pleased to announce that Air Mauritius have taken advantage of a multi-year ConsumableCare Program to cover their existing Airbus Fleet.

BMI Partners PDQ in Stock Disposal
BMI has selected PDQ Airspares Ltd to dispose of its B737 & A320 consumable surplus. The multi-year contract initially covers 21,000 line items. BMI's meticulous quality requirements ensures compatibility with PDQ's own OEM certified stock. Managed consumable disposal is a bolt-on module to the ever increasing success of PDQ's ConsumableCare product. PDQ Airspares Ltd is very happy to welcome BMI as a partner.
